All students are required to be registered every school year. Current students need to re-register each school year, which takes place in the spring. Returning students will need to bring extension or reassignment orders for the sponsor, if the current set of orders expires before the start of the new school year. New students, (i.e., students who did not attend a DoDEA school in Europe) are encouraged to register online in order to expedite the process of registration.
It is necessary for the parent(s) to come to the school office to complete registration for students in either case. You need to bring with you a copy of the sponsor's orders, the child's shot records, social security number and school records. At that time, additional forms will be filled out for the school as needed.
If sponsors are aware that they will be leaving before the end of the school year, please notify the registrar and bring in a copy of the PCS orders as soon as they are received. With your help, we can make registration a speedy and pleasant experience.
It is recommended that each military unit and each school have the expectation that this checklist is complete before a military member PCS’s with school aged children. When this checklist is complete, you have all you need to register in a new school with the least amount of problems due to a PCS.

- Tuition paying students in category 1 need to bring their Central Billing letter. If you are paying yourself, then you will be considered partially registered until tuition is collected before the school year begins.

Pre-registration for school year 2008-2009 will be held on April 3rd, 2008 from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM in the Ramstein Middle School Gym. We strongly encourage you to come this day. We will remain open throughout the lunch hours for your convenience. Registering early helps ensure that there is space for your child in classes that are in high demand with very limited space.
Form 600 (demographics) will be available for pick-up at the time of registration. You will need to review and update the information to ensure the school database has current information. Please download the documents as needed by grade level and properly fill them out. These documents are required to complete registration.
